Honored to be joining the star-studded world premiere of Hal Prince's The Prince of Broadway, being directed by the legendary Harold Prince and co-directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman. Musical arrangements and supervision will be by Jason Robert Brown, and the show is being music directed by Fred Lassen. The Prince of Broadway will be rehearsing in NYC this September 2015 before premiering in Tokyo, Japan in October and then moving on to Osaka, Japan. Click here for some cast info. Mariand played Yanira/Pilar/Narroator in the 4 week workshop of Makandal, a new opera conceived and writted by Carl Hancok Rux, composed by Yosvanny Terry and commissioned by Harlem stage, starring Julia Monge, T Oliver Reid, Kecia Lewis, Kenita Miller, Enrique Acevedo, Damian Norfleet. Directed by Lars Jan. Makandal is set to premiere in 2015.

Mariand will be joining a long list of Broadway Stars for a great cause - Broadway Battles Bullying - and event to raise money for the Michael Morones Foundation.
